LOG STRUCTURES
A Mountain Cabin By Alpine Engineering
Alpine Engineering Personnel have developed a reputation as log home engineers and have engineered over 300 log homes from a variety of manufacturers.

Alpine Engineering continues to work closely with our log home clients to find easier and better construction techniques. Our principal has built a handcrafted log home himself.

LOG SPECIALISTS
Over a 15 year period, company personnel have engineered hundreds of log structures. These include both hand crafted and machined log systems. Many of our projects were for the do-it-yourselfers, while others were quite sophisticated buildings.

Our typical log project ranges from small cabins built in rural settings to multi-million dollar structures. Alpine's clients include owners, developers, architects, and log home manufacturers. Our principal has also built a log home doing about half of the work himself.

Our construction documents are prepared using Autocad, Autocad LT, and our internally produced structural engineering software. Our computer library of log construction details includes over 250 log details. Construction documents produced by our firm are more complete than the industry average. We are noted for our ability to create one-of-a-kind log structural systems for those clients who demand a signature type project.

The design of log structures is inherently more challenging for architects and engineers in that it requires more knowledge, experience, and creativity than conventionally framed buildings.

Having engineered and designed so many log structures, including our hands on construction site work, we are well equipped to take on any such project.
